OVERVIEW
As a Junior Legal Advisor, your role will involve aiding senior legal advisor and management in delivering legal counsel and assistance across a wide spectrum of legal matters encompassing the entire company.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Administrative Support: Managing administrative tasks such as maintaining legal documentation and database and collaborating extensively with various internal and external stakeholders to gather the necessary requirements for legal documentation.
- Contracts: Assisting in reviewing and drafting sales, purchase, NDA, loan, agency and other agreements.
- Support in Litigation: Assisting in litigation matters by preparing evidence, documents, and case summaries.
- Legal Advice: Assisting in providing legal advice and guidance to departments on day-to-day operational matters.
- Client Communication: Communicating with clients, banks, service providers, external counsel, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Compliance: Assisting the supervisor in facilitating the submission of KYC, Compliance, and AML documentation to banking institutions and regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to pertinent laws and regulations governing business operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent through relevant experience.
- 2-3 years’ experience in similar role.
- Strong understanding of legal principles, terminology, and procedures.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, or litigation.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office Suite.
- Resilient & Positive personality with emotional maturity.
