Learning expectations:

• Learn how to conduct safety inspections for emergency equipment and understand PepsiCo's requirements.
• Learn how to participate in safety campaigns and training sessions.
• Learn how to perform safety tours in warehouses and loading/unloading yards and identify the hazards/risks.
• Participate in a risk assessment program and learn how to place the proper controls.
• Shadow the EHS supervisor to gain practical experience, become aware of the core responsibilities of daily duties, deal with daily operation safety challenges and how to adhere to standards and policies.
• Assist in documentation related to safety protocols.
• Understand the fleet safety industry with the latest technology to reduce collisions and reduce driving violations.

Skills

• Location: The intern will be based in Abu Dhabi but may be required to accompany EHS team and travel across the Emirates for warehouse visits.
• Effective communication skills with fluency in English and Arabic.
