PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
QC Inspector will work closely with Supervisor/Lead to complete the daily assigned tasks (incoming inspection, in-process inspection, NDT inspection and final/outgoing inspection). Conducting inspection on various stages of the inspection to ensure the products fulfill the required quality as given in the production requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform incoming material inspections as per the appropriate Work Instruction (WI).
- Perform correctly the daily in-process and final inspection of the product in accordance with the Quality Procedure (QP) and WI.
- Ensure material/component traceability (router sheet) is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
- Ensure to clock in/out (VM) and update the router sheet correctly.
- Ensure only calibrated and validated equipment/measuring devices are used in the inspection processes.
- Report to the Supervisor/Lead on any non-conformance(s) detected during inspection.
- Ensure repaired/reworked items are re-inspected before releasing the product for further processing or delivery.
- Prepare and complete inspection records prior to shipment to customers.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior.
- Support in the orientation of new recruitment for the quality team by providing on-the-job-training and sharing the company culture and practice, and method of inspection, etc.
- Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area.
- Adheres company’s guidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.
- Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.
- Support and participate in company-wide or departmental programs such as:
- Total Quality Management, Lean Manufacturing
- Social Activities
