Timekeeper

  • Maintains accurate records of employee time and attendance using timekeeping software and hardware
  • Verifies and corrects timecard errors and discrepancies
  • Calculates and processes payroll in a timely manner
  • Maintains confidentiality of employee information and payroll records
  • Works with HR and management to resolve payroll and timekeeping issues
  • Provides support and training to employees on timekeeping procedures
  • Generates reports on time and attendance for management
  • Keeps current with changes in laws and regulations regarding payroll and timekeeping


Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll and timekeeping
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
