Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading structure steel company in Sharjah, UAE. Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with over 10 years of experience in a fabrication environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and preparation of construction documents for various projects, including steel and transportation structures. This role requires strong proficiency in structural design software and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, partners, and in-house teams.
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel and transportation structures, focusing on both new construction and rehabilitation projects.
- Prepare detailed technical/design reports and calculation packages to support project execution.
- Develop construction drawings and specifications in accordance with industry standards.
- Attend design meetings and site inspections as required, liaising with clients, subconsultants, and partners to ensure project objectives are met.
- Collaborate with in-house drafters and other engineers to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
- Design various structural components, including buildings, retaining walls, foundations, and elements related to wastewater treatment plants.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 10+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer, particularly in a fabrication environment.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Structural System, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Risa 2D, Risa 3D, and SAP 2000.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
