We are seeking an experienced MICE and Leisure groups Travel Manager who is adept at MICE industry, proficient in B2B sales, has extensive knowledge of the UAE as travel destination and Indian travel industry
The Groups Executive is responsible for attending to Group/ MICE Queries from agency partners from Indian market and maximize materialization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end MICE events and leisure groups from offerings and quotation to event closing
- Communication with travel agencies and corporate clients and handling their inquiries for leisure and corporate groups (MICE)
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, budgets, and preferences, and propose customized solutions.
- Product creation: Arrange venue selection, accommodation, transportation, catering, entertainment, entertainment program and other necessary arrangements.
- Communication with contractors and partners.
- Oversee event logistics and event closing procedures and payments
- Maintain document flow on projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding clients' requirements and offering tailored solutions.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as a trusted advisor and a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally and by providing expert recommendations and creating unique itineraries
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments in the tourism and MICE sectors.
- Meet profit and sales targets
Skills
- Excellent (Spoken & Written) communication in English and Hindi
- Depth knowledge and experience of UAE as a destination (Accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, itineraries, venues, travel documents and government guidelines).
- Knowledge and established connections with various suppliers in UAE
- Experience in handling Indian Special Occasion Travel, including Weddings, Honeymoon or Engagement travel is an advantage
- Understanding of corporate travel, events, and destination services.
- Experience in managing corporate events and leisure groups
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Good knowledge of MS- word and excel & Internet utilization
- Knowledge of Travel tech tools (B2B booking tools, CRM system) is a plus
- Customer driven, positive attitude with a proven passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Own actual client database is an advantage
