An internship opportunity with our fabulous Taste & Wellbeing Regional Innovation team supporting exciting Category Management project activities in our Dubai Media City office - Your future position?

We are hiring an ‘Intern’ for our Taste & Wellbeing Regional Innovation team for 3 months (with a possibility of extension) and support some of our exciting projects and initiatives. 

You will be based in our Regional Head Office in Dubai Media City and report to the Taste & Wellbeing Regional Category Manager for Snacks & Savoury. You will learn, gather insights, and support the team for exciting core project activities for Category Management for the Taste & Wellbeing Regional Innovation team across several product categories like Snacks, Savory, Beverage, and Sweets.

In this exciting role, you will - 

  • Analyse food and beverage product categories and brands to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and brand challenges, as well as make well-informed commercial and marketing strategy recommendations for the team.
  • Assist the Category Marketing Manager on specific projects, compiling, consolidating, and uploading information into our internal portals.
  • Learn about the latest developments in food and beverage trends in the global and local markets.
  • Have access to data (e.g., Mintel, Global data, Euromonitor and FMCG Gurus), Givaudan internal company tools and consumer research to expand your knowledge in the high-paced food and beverages industry!
  • Work closely with local markets to collect, upload, and share information. 
  • Support Product Managers on specific innovation projects and roll-outs involving sampling and documentation activities.


Skills

You?

  • Currently still a student or within the last 1 year passed out with a Bachelor's or Master's program (or similar) in only Marketing or Business Administration or Food Technology at University or Business School.
  • Prior international experience, such as studies or internships abroad, is advantageous.
  • Have your own valid UAE Residence visa through the university, parent, spouse, or other valid arrangements.
  • Passionate with all aspects of marketing, from inspiration to commercialization.
  • High affinity for the food and beverage industry. 
  • Ability to build a marketing presentation and to bring an innovative mindset.
  • Comfortable working across different digital platforms and exploring new digital tools.
  • Proficient in the English language.
