Sales Representative

Our client, a leading provider of technical and industrial inspection services in the GCC, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join their Technical Services Division within GCC Industrial Inspection Services (GCC IIS).


As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing frequent market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. You will report the status of pricing developments, new projects, and competitor news. Additionally, you will approach the market by arranging meetings to generate business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media. You will also approach potential project parties at all project stages and manage and support in tender preparation and submission.


Responsibilities:

  1. Manage frequent market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  2. Report the status of pricing developments, new projects, and competitor news.
  3. Approach the market by arranging meetings to generate business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  4. Approach potential project parties at all project stages.
  5. Manage and support in tender preparation and submission, negotiate, and close deals.
  6. Meet the targeted conversion rates of enquiries, number of meetings/client interactions, and generated revenue.
  7. Secure the order by proper follow-up with the client and remain supportive of the work order until invoice collection.
  8. Work closely with the operation team, invoicing and collection team to ensure there are no bad debts and support the execution of orders.
  9. Manage key accounts by cross-selling and upselling all available services.
  10. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  11. Collaborate with sales team members to achieve better results and increase leads.

Preferred Candidates:

  1. Degree OR Diploma in either Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or other relevant qualification.
  2. 3 – 5 years’ experience with Degree OR 8 years’ experience with a Diploma.
  3. Work experience with TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) in GCC countries only.
  4. GCC driver’s license is mandatory.
