Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rigger and Driver to join our Mobile Network Project team in the Telecommunications industry. As a Rigger and Driver, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile network infrastructure. This is a hands-on position that requires physical strength, technical knowledge, and driving skills.
Salary: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles and machinery to transport equipment and materials to work sites
- Rig and de-rig mobile network equipment, including antennas, towers, and cables
- Install and align antennas and other equipment according to project specifications and safety guidelines
- Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks on mobile network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions or connectivity issues
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and in potentially hazardous environments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Rigger and Driver in the Telecommunications industry
- In-depth knowledge of mobile network infrastructure and equipment
- Proficiency in rigging techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to operate various vehicles and machinery for transporting equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work in different locations and adapt to changing project requirements
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems would be an advantage
Skills
Mobile Tower Rigging Experience preferably on Etisalat projects.
