The Role

The Production Planning Executive in the Tiles division is responsible for the meticulous planning, coordination, and scheduling of orders to ensure the timely and efficient manufacturing of tiles. This role is crucial for optimizing production workflows, managing resources effectively, and ensuring that production targets and quality standards are consistently met. The executive collaborates with various departments to align production activities with business goals and customer demands.

What you will be doing

• Implement finalized comprehensive production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders-in-hand, and inventory levels.
• Ensure that production plans align with the company's strategic objectives and capacity constraints.
• Adjust production plans as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or unexpected disruptions.
• Create and maintain detailed production schedules, specifying the timing and sequence of operations.
• Coordinate with production managers and supervisors to allocate resources and assign tasks effectively.
• Monitor adherence to production schedules and make adjustments to address delays.
• Coordinate with the stake holders to optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and reduce production costs.
• Conduct regular reviews of production workflows to identify and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Serve as a liaison between the production, sales and other cross functional departments.
• Communicate production schedules, changes, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular production meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and plan future activities.
• Collect and analyze production data to track the work-flow in line as planned.
• Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

What we are looking for

• Relationship management and continuous operational excellence.
• An exposure to order inflows and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience and working knowledge of production analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and data presentation skills.

Our ideal match

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Planning/Scheduling & Analysis.
• A degree in Engineering and a post graduate degree (any stream) would be an add on.
• Working knowledge of SAP PP Module.
