Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading engineering software simulation company in Dubai, a prominent leader in engineering solutions that drive innovation in industries such as Aerospace & Defense and Oil & Gas. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Senior Engineer who will be responsible to engage in training and consulting activities to simulate complex mechanical engineering problems for customers.
As a Senior Engineer specializing in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), your primary role will entail tackling intricate challenges through adept problem-solving. Your duties will include:
- Deliver introductory, advanced, and customized training sessions to customers, either online or onsite.
- Design and develop customized training workshops and materials, aligning with client requirements using the Ansys Structures Portfolio.
- Create example projects and proof of concepts based on customer use cases, and deliver these in workshops or training sessions.
- Apply advanced engineering expertise and simulation techniques to provide top-tier technical support to customers.
- Conduct meetings with customers to understand their requirements and scope of work for FEA projects.
- Develop and review technical proposals, including time and cost estimates, resource planning, and report writing.
- Execute projects, ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Support the team in conducting Ansys software demonstrations and providing technical support to customers as needed.
- Quickly adapt to new concepts and technologies, with a strong emphasis on self-learning.
- Demonstrate logical problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Travel up to 60% as required.
Requirements- Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in FEA.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Ansys software or other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM tools.
- At least 4 years of experience delivering training on Finite Element Analysis using Ansys tools.
- Expert-level knowledge in linear and non-linear structural mechanics, explicit dynamics, linear dynamics, and multi-physics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a sense of urgency.
- Professional demeanor with strong business acumen and a drive to succeed.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma Certification or experience in process improvement.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Practical experience in design, physical testing, or product development is an advantage.
- Familiarity with industrial codes and standards is a plus.
