Job Summary:
The Freight Forwarding Sales Executive is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and promoting the company's freight forwarding / NVOCC services. The role requires a strong understanding of the logistics industry, excellent sales skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Marketing:
o Promote the company’s freight forwarding services, including air, sea, and land transportation.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
o Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
o Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the company.
- Business Development:
o Identify and target potential clients in the UAE and surrounding regions.
o Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets.
o Generate leads through networking and industry events.
o Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition.
- Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
o Understand clients' logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
o Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close deals.
o Provide regular updates and reports to clients on their shipments and logistics solutions.
- Account Management:
o Manage client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
o Address any issues or concerns raised by clients and provide solutions.
o Monitor and analyze sales performance and customer feedback to improve services.
- Reporting & Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contracts.
o Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
o Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with company policies and regulations.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience:
o Minimum of 3-7 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding (Import & Export) & NVOCC sales.
o Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Other Requirements:
o Valid UAE driving license.
o Willingness to travel within the UAE and occasionally internationally.
o Knowledge of local market dynamics and regulations.
o Fluent in English, Hindi / Urdu & Arabic (Preferred).
o Any nationality.
