Description




Project Design Management: Oversee all aspects of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning design throughout all project stages, ensuring alignment with project goals, briefs, budgets, and time-lines.

Consultant and Team Coordination: Manage Design Consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure that design services fully meet the scope, development vision, and technical requirements.

Design Review and Approval: Review, assess, and technically approve Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning designs, ensuring compliance with project briefs, statutory requirements, and technical standards.

Leadership in Design Optimization: Lead design meetings, provide continual input to optimize designs, and resolve conflicts among consultants to ensure high-quality, sustainable, and durable outcomes.

QA/QC and BIM Implementation: Champion quality assurance processes and assist in implementing BIM and VDC strategies to enhance design quality and project management efficiency.

Value Engineering: Identify and evaluate opportunities for Value Engineering to optimize designs and ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality or functionality.

Stakeholder Management: Manage design inputs and stakeholders, ensuring timely and well-coordinated deliverables, and lead interactions with external entities like local authorities and business partners




Profile

The successful candidate for the Manager Landscape Architecture role will be a seasoned professional with at least 8 years of experience in landscape architecture or urban planning, ideally holding a relevant degree and post-graduate qualifications.

Strong understanding of local and international codes and regulations, along with experience in managing design consultants and cross-functional teams.

Possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to design management.

They will be digitally fluent, capable of implementing advanced digital tools like BIM, and committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions.
