Reporting to the owners, the House Manager will be responsible in keeping the day-to-day operations of the home running smoothly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage the household’s routine maintenance and/or service schedules and calendars timely.
- Scheduling home maintenance and repair work, and supervising the job tasks to ensure they are satisfactorily completed.
- Handling household bills and administrative duties to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Running errands and performing assigned tasks efficiently.
- Managing the staff at home with leave and medical etc.
- Supervise and coach the domestic helpers in their household chores and respective responsibilities.
- Shop for food, supplies, and other requested items.
- Assist to plan, organise and coordinate home parties / gatherings hosted by the owners.
- Coordinate packing/transport as required for luggage’s/packages
- Providing tea/coffee service as when required for meetings and guests.
- Arranging appointments and reservations for owners’ personal needs where necessary.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
Skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No specific education level required but must have good household management experiences and background in a personal or corporate capacity.
SKILLS, ABILITIES & ATTRIBUTES
- Fluency in English and Hindi is compulsory
- Computer Literacy in sending emails and Microsoft Outlook
- Good human relations skills
- Good communications (verbal and written)
- Good planning and coordination skills
- Well-organised and able to mulit-task
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with strong time management skills
- Eye for detail and highly meticulous
- Good household management skills and culinary knowledge
- Flexibility on working days and hours including weekends and public holidays when required
