Job Summary:
The Inventory Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels across all locations, ensuring smooth flow of inventory-related operations. This role includes monitoring stock levels, coordinating with various departments, analyzing inventory data, conducting audits, and implementing process improvements. The Inventory Executive will work with the Head Office Inventory team to maintain a high standard of inventory accuracy and efficiency, while contributing to overall supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Monitoring & Control:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels across stores and warehouses.
- Track and reconcile stock discrepancies and ensure accurate data in the inventory management system (SAP or relevant ERP system).
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, including stock ageing, stock movement, and inventory accuracy reports.
- Stock Auditing & PI (Physical Inventory):
- Assist in the coordination and execution of periodic stock audits and monthly physical inventory (PI) processes.
- Ensure accurate stock counts and timely adjustments by collaborating with store and warehouse teams.
- Lead the implementation of inventory control best practices, focusing on shrinkage reduction and accuracy.
- BI Dashboard Reporting:
- Utilize BI dashboards and inventory management tools to provide real-time visibility into inventory metrics.
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to develop and maintain dashboards that support business decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in current inventory processes and recommend improvements to enhance inventory control, efficiency, and data accuracy.
- Support the implementation of automated solutions for inventory tracking and stock count processes.
- Vendor & Category Collaboration:
- Liaise with vendors, the supply chain, and category management teams to ensure timely replenishment, RTV (Return to Vendor), and liquidation of ageing stock.
- Monitor vendor performance and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and delays.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare inventory reports and present them to senior management, ensuring clear communication on inventory status, challenges, and performance.
- Maintain proper documentation for inventory audits, transactions, and reconciliations.
- Compliance & SOP Adherence:
- Ensure all inventory processes and activities comply with company policies, SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Promote adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in inventory handling.
Requirements
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience preferably in a retail environment
Educational Qualification: Undergraduate/ Graduate
