We are partnering with a multi-stage private market investor with active ventures across the UK, Europe, and MENA regions. The fund focuses on venture capital investments in sectors such as fintech, consumer tech, climate tech, health tech, and B2B SaaS, investing across the capital structure. They are seeking an Investment Associate to be based in Dubai, focusing on early-stage investments within the MENA region.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the MENA region’s rapidly growing venture capital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and evaluate new business proposals, focusing on high-growth companies in the MENA region, particularly within emerging technologies and disruptive innovations.
- Prepare thorough investment theses covering market dynamics and investment rationale.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate ROI, scalability, and growth potential.
- Lead due diligence, assessing management, product-market fit, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with legal and advisory teams to structure and negotiate investment deals.
- Manage a portfolio of early to growth-stage companies, offering support beyond capital.
- Expand networks with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts in the region.
- Ensure deal flow management aligns with investment and risk management protocols.
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience in venture & growth investing as a direct investor or in fund of funds co-investment
- Strong analytical and written communication skills, with knowledge of venture capital strategies.
- Proven ability to identify high-potential companies and assess market opportunities.
- Excellent financial modelling and investment case-building skills.
- A detail-oriented, results-driven work ethic with strong time management in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and early-stage investments.
