We are looking for MEP Construction Manager with a minimum 10 years Experience in MEP Construction field.

Duties and Responsibilities
- To abide strictly by the applicable procedures.
- To organize and control or personally carry out the purchasing/stock requisition duties accordingly, while sticking the project’s milestones and deadlines.
- To detect site issues, purpose, define corrective or preventive actions, organize their implementation, and control their effectiveness (issue to be monitored: delays, poor workmanship, interruptions, modifications, extra works, and resources under/over allocation…)
- To carry out a thorough follow-up of the incoming and outgoing invoicing.
- To manage the site as a team, periodically assessing people’s performance, detecting training needs, defining or/and taking the necessary measures to upgrade the skills, and ultimately checking the efficiency of training.
- Overseeing the actual progress of construction.
- Implementation of approved programme of works and updating schedules with planning engineer.
- Coordination of activities as site and resolving day to day technical issues at site with site engineers/subcontractors/main contractor.
- Check the sequence of work and ensure safe plan for moving the machinery and equipment as planned.
- Responsible for initiating on site quality control inspections.
- Advising Contracting Project Manager / Engineers on manpower, material, and plant requirements for construction activities.
- Issuing instructions to the Project / site engineers/subcontractors to complete the work in accordance with project planning and schedules and allocating resources.
- Monitoring all subcontractor’s work to ensure that the quality of the work is as per the specification and is completed on time.
- Review of short-term planning and advising the contracting division project manager on any anticipated problems.
- Providing budgetary information regarding requirement of manpower at site.
- Monitoring and compiling relevant information on production rates.
- Conducting daily meetings with site staff to organize work for the day/next day.
- Preparation of daily reports and daily construction programme.
- To establish and implement productivity monitoring and improvement procedures for ensuring savings on labor costs.
- To complete and analyze data regarding productivity and share it with tender estimation team.
- To manage and supervise the subcontractors/ site engineers.
- To ensure that all construction works are undertaken to required design, specification, standards and QHSE requirements.
- To be responsible for reporting progress of site works to Project Manager.
- To identify problematic design issues and make recommendations for alternative and cost effective re-design solutions.
- To ensure the construction schedules is maintained.
- To report on changes and additions to contractual agreements by main contractors, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- To maintain accurate and detailed records are of all site activities.
- To represent MEP on a day-to-day basis to main contractors, consultants and subcontractors.
