ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Manager is an individual contributor who plays a key role in growing Turpal’s revenue by developing relationships with customers and closing new deals. What you will be doing:

• Research and prospect potential leads
• Lead the entire sales cycle
• Develop relationships and build trust with customers
• Understand customers’ needs and provide tailored solutions to help them grow
• Collaborate and coordinate with diverse teams (e.g. tech, product, marketing, etc).
• Report, monitor and drive the commercial health of customers
• Establish and maintain long-term, profitable partnerships with key travel industry organizations.

Skills

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

MUST-HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree. Nice-to-have: Master’s degree
• 3+ years of experience in sales in a related industry in the Middle East
• Cold calling experience (you can take 50 "no" in a row and still remain motivated)
• Proven track record in leading full sales cycle
• Experience in Sales in any of the below sectors: Travel technology solutions, B2B SAAS, Bed banks/leading OTA/Hotel Sales
• Highly proficient with IT tools: Microsoft Office/Google Suite, CRM, etc.
• Strong Sales knowledge along with an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills are essential
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in English
• Fluency in Arabic 
• Startup mindset, open to change and tech-savvy

NICE-TO-HAVE:

• Understanding of the workflow for Destination Management Companies/ Inbound tour operators/vacation rentals
• Strong existing network within the travel industry
