We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Retail and Ecommerce sectors. You will develop strategic partnerships, identify market opportunities, and enhance our customer acquisition efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1.Market Analysis: Gain a deep understanding of the current state and trends of the e-commerce and retail industry in the UAE, including market size, growth potential, key competitors, and consumer behavior.
2.Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their organizational, business, and technical architecture, as well as gathering information about their decision-making processes and customer profiles.
3.Sales Targeting: Develop sales strategies and plans based on Huawei Cloud's migration and revenue targets to ensure the achievement of set sales performance goals.
4.Product Promotion: Promote the application of Huawei Cloud services in the e-commerce and retail industry, including cloud computing, AI development, and data governance production lines, demonstrating how Huawei Cloud can assist enterprises in digital transformation.
5.Partner Relationship Building: Establish cooperative relationships with local partners to jointly develop the market and provide comprehensive solutions.
6.Market Expansion: Explore new sales channels and opportunities, including collaboration with emerging e-commerce platforms and product promotion through social tools.
7.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Huawei Cloud Middle East & Central Asia team to share resources and information, ensuring alignment of team objectives.
8.Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service to resolve any issues clients encounter when using Huawei Cloud services.
9.Compliance and Security: Ensure all business activities comply with local laws and regulations and protect the security and privacy of customer data.
Professional Knowledge
1. Establish strategic relationships with key customers in the UAE market.
2. Take ownership of key projects and sales targets.
3. Sell cloud services to target accounts within the e-commerce retail sector.
4. Master and effectively position the company's cloud message and service offerings tailored to the industry.
5. Develop pipelines and generate revenue to meet sales targets.
6. Coordinate with Solution Architect teams to secure technical wins, demonstrate value propositions, and develop customer cloud roadmaps.
7. Collaborate with the channel ecosystem to expand market reach and ensure partner alignment across different accounts.
8 Provide feedback on industry demand to the ecosystem team to enhance service offerings, with a primary focus on Software as a Service (SaaS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in retail or ecommerce.
- Strong understanding of the retail and ecommerce landscape.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Skills
1. Practitioners working in related fields of European and American manufacturers such as AZURE/AWS/SAP are preferred. Practitioners working in local head retail/e-commerce platforms are preferred.
2. Strong understanding of retail/ecommerce industries’ ICT requirements and solutions.
3. Extensive experience in digital transformation projects within retail/ecommerce industries.
4. Have a full understanding of the local e-commerce retail ecosystem.
5. In-depth understanding of the e-commerce retail industry (Middle East) with more than 8 years of experience in the industry.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Strong aptitude for learning, with a keen sense of teamwork, self-motivation, optimism, and passion.
8. Solid technical knowledge and experience in cloud service offerings (IaaS, PaaS, DaaS, SaaS).
9. Robust sales background, including proficiency in forecasting and developing comprehensive opportunity closure plans.
10.Experience in the cloud-native market across the Middle East.
11.Knowledge of hyper-scale cloud offerings is a plus.
