- Develop, prepare, and update project plans and schedules, monitoring progress and coordinating with the execution team to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Work closely with the executing team to update daily planned activities and follow up on completion, addressing any delays or issues that arise.
- Prepare the Outage Plan, allocating resources such as manpower, tools, consumables, and additional resources in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Prepare costing and estimation reports in accordance with the requirements of the Operations Manager and Project Manager.
- Attend progress meetings with clients, effectively communicating project status and providing updates on the schedule.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly, identifying and mitigating potential delays.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to address scheduling conflicts and resource constraints.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Provide regular reports on schedule status, manpower utilization, and cost forecasts to management.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on project timelines.
- Assist in the development of work breakdown structures (WBS) to enhance project clarity and tracking.
- Evaluate and recommend scheduling tools and methodologies to improve project planning processes.
- Support the preparation of tender documents, including schedule and manpower estimates.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project planning and execution.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. (MOFA Attested)
- 7-10 years of experience in power plant operations.
- Proficient in MS Projects and PRIMAVERA.
- Costing and Estimation knowledge required.
- Excellent communication skills and proven leadership abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and skilled in documentation.
