Our client based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Machinist with Oil/Gas industry experience for its firm.
You will be producing quality and efficient products for the oil and gas industry. The Machinist will be working within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review shop order packet for procedural instructions
- Use of most types of inspection gages
- Check dimensions of parts and hold tolerance of plus or minus
- Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the machine
- Records quantities, material descriptions, and job orders for reporting purposes
- 5+ years experience as a machinist in the oil and gas sector
- Extensive ability and knowledge of operating hollow spindle lathe, rotary drill press, and various hand tools such as grinders, debug, etc.
- Read basic measuring tools
- Ability to drive/operate loader and forklift
- Must have a high school diploma
