Overview of the role:
To be the focal point of contact, providing diagnostic support for Electric Vehicle brand on technical and electrical issues, also by ensuring the availability of necessary special tools, technical literature, and service bulletins at locations.
To report all issues to brand principal requiring technical assistance and new vehicle concerns by way of raising technical reports and advise locations on the resolution. Prepare Quality Cases reports and submit it with required data to the Technical Support manager and to the OEM .
What you will do:
• Technical support visit + report
• Validation of concern technical raised
• Remote assist to solve the technical issues
• Field visit to assist on the technical issues
• Prepare technical information report and submit to the principle
• Follow up on the technical information report
• Escalation issue to Technical Support Manager
• Failed part analysis / ship to OEM
• On the job coaching
• Software update equipment + special tools
Skills
Required skills to be successful:
- In depth understanding of the various components of Electric Vehicle and their power train system.
- Familiar with modern diagnostic and repair methods in EV brands
- Good knowledge in raising technical reports
- Experience in both EV and PHEV brands
About The Team:
The role will report to Technical Support Manager and aims to ensure that the customer experience is a positive one.
What Equips You For The Role:
- Minimum 5 years in service field of automotive repair, out of this 3years should be as Master Technician in dealer service operations or equivalent
- Automobile / Mechanical or Electrical engineering or extensive and specialized training in Electrical Vehicles.
- Good knowledge of electronics, onboard diagnostics and new generation vehicles. Familiar with modern diagnostic and repair methods
