Job Overview:
As a Partnership & Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our product offerings by sourcing new cosmetics and accessories vendors. You will seek out suppliers that align with our brand's vision, negotiate cost-effective deals, and manage the end-to-end contracting process. This position requires someone with excellent negotiation skills, a strong understanding of the cosmetics industry, and the ability to build long-term relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Sourcing: Identify and establish partnerships with unique, innovative, and cost-efficient cosmetics and accessory vendors globally.
Negotiation & Cost Management: Lead negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Contract Management: Oversee the contracting process from start to finish, including drafting agreements, reviewing terms, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Identify and establish relationships with innovative and cost-effective suppliers in the beauty industry.
- Negotiate terms, contracts, and agreements with suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and partners.
Procurement Strategy:
- Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan that aligns with the company’s mission and growth objectives.
- Source and evaluate beauty products and accessories that meet quality standards and market demands.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of products while managing costs and adhering to budgets.
Supplier Management:
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring consistent product quality, delivery timelines, and adherence to contract terms.
- Continuously assess supplier capabilities and explore new potential suppliers to diversify the portfolio.
- Handle any procurement-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, or pricing discrepancies.
Market Research:
· Stay updated on market trends, emerging products, and innovations in the beauty industry.
· Analyze market conditions to identify new opportunities for cost savings, product enhancements, or improved supplier relationships.
Risk Management: Monitor supplier performance and mitigate risks by having alternative sources, anticipating supply chain disruptions, and ensuring quality control standards.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure procurement aligns with business goals.
Contribute to the development of new product lines by sourcing unique, high-quality materials or suppliers.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or partnership management, must be within the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of negotiating contracts and securing favorable terms with vendors.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cosmetics industry, including sourcing materials, emerging product trends, and supplier networks.
- Contracting: Strong experience in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze cost structures, vendor capabilities, and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to build strong vendor relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and finding creative solutions to potential supply chain challenges.
- Passion for beauty products and a deep understanding of the beauty industry is a plus.
