Overview of the job

The Professional Oral Health Director role is multi-faceted, primarily focused on influencing dental professionals and overall management of a designated geographic section. The role collaborates with the Brand team in designing and implementing strategies to deliver professional recommendations, sales from dental care professionals and develop thought leadership via dental academia

Your team

This role has a direct line reporting to AMA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa) Oral-B Brand Leader (Vice President), collaborating with diverse functions including marketing and sales. The role will have 1 Direct Report and 3 Indirect Reports.

How success looks like

  • Sales: Delivering objectives for the territory through robust in-field influencing plans & management of key dental chains
  • Thought Leadership: Leading partnership with key dental colleges in Singapore and developing academic Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Influencing: Influencing the right stakeholders internally & externally
  • Compliance of P&G processes including stewardship and operation

Responsibilities of the role

Business Management:

  • Leading regional strategy best fit for AMA to deliver Usage, Recommendation and Sales goal working with multifunction team.
  • Conduct coaching to P&G employees and agency.
  • Ensuring proactive execution of all processes including stewardship and operation
  • Ensure stewardship process established and implemented as per global P&G guideline.

Conference and Seminar:

  • Engage with key opinion leaders to drive conference and seminar objective to have uncovered reach and trails in such activities.
  • Identify market opportunities to drive uncovered reach via lunch / learn seminars, association/conference engagement, and other forums available in the market.

Business Planning / Reviews:

  • Analyze reports, drive recommendation/improvement and build a monthly business review with the team.

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in life sciences ideally related to Dentistry, Pharmacy or Chemistry from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven experience with healthcare professionals in field sales/account management and KOL development.
  • Proven good experience in sales/business management.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
