We are seeking an experienced Senior Web/Java Application Deployment Engineer to join our team remotely for a prestigious banking client in Dubai. The selected candidate will manage application deployments across various web-based environments, supporting crucial business applications. This role is essential to streamline deployment processes and enhance automation for our client’s critical operations.

Skills

Extensive experience in Web/Java Application Deployment with hands-on knowledge of:

• Apache Tomcat, Node.js, WebSphere, WebLogic
• WAR/JAR deployment processes

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and release management processes

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo

In-depth knowledge of web application servers (Apache Tomcat, Node.js, WebSphere, WebLogic)

Familiarity with best practices for WAR/JAR deployment

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience: 10+ years in IT, with 8+ years specifically in deployment and release management for web and Java applications
