PDI (Paper Distribution International) World Trading LLC is seeking an experienced Export/Import Officer to join our dynamic team in our Dubai Business Bay office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the import and export of our international trading activities in pulp & paper products, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with all relevant regulations.with a good knowledge of L/C’s and export docs related to it.

What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate the import and export documentation, L/C opening process
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import/export regulations, tariffs, and industry best practices
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on import/export activities
- Provide support and guidance to the sales team on import/export-related matters
- Additionally, you may be required to generate regular reports, maintain comprehensive document logs, and assist in transitioning to electronic document management systems to enhance overall efficiency and document security.
- Within project teams, enabling efficient communication and the sharing of data, while also ensuring document compliance with regulatory and quality assurance standards.
- Your responsibilities will include a meticulous review of incoming documents to ensure they meet established standards, adhere to formatting guidelines, and are complete, with diligent tracking of changes and revisions.
- Your role as a Document Officer entails the meticulous management and organization of project documents, with a focus on accuracy, currency, and accessibility for all team members.
Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an import/export or customs-related role,logistics industry
- Excellent understanding of import/export regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
