Job Summary:

The Fit-Out Site Supervisor will oversee all on-site activities to ensure that interior fit-out projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires extensive experience in commercial space fit-outs, specifically in managing the daily operations, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with all project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. The Fit-Out Site Supervisor will work closely with the Projects Manager to meet project objectives, effectively handle challenges, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Supervision:

1. Oversee all phases of the fit-out process on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
2. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to ensure work is executed as per the approved drawings and materials.
3. Inspect and monitor on-site work progress, identifying and addressing issues proactively to prevent delays or deviations.

• Site Management:

1. Manage site activities daily, including overseeing installations, supervising on-site staff, and coordinating material deliveries.
2. Ensure site is well-organized, clean, and compliant with all safety and quality guidelines.
3. Conduct daily briefings with site staff to discuss progress, potential issues, and safety protocols.

• Quality Assurance:

1. Perform regular inspections to ensure that all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
2. Review all finished work for quality and accuracy, and ensure corrective actions are taken if necessary.
3. Document site activities, quality checks, and completion milestones for project records.

Skills

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in site supervision, with a proven track record in commercial fit-out projects in the UAE.

Knowledge & Skills:

1. In-depth knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and standards.
2. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project management software.
3. Familiarity with UAE building codes, health and safety regulations, and local compliance requirements.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to addressing site challenges.
6. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
