Duties and responsibilities shall include:
- Evaluate and manage complex pediatric cases requiring specialized intervention and Pediatric pulmonary care, including bronchoscopy
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with other pediatricians, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct medication reviews to identify and mitigate potential drug-related issues.
- Serve as a collaborative physician for an advanced practice registered nurse.
- Lead and participate in clinical research projects focused on pediatric Pulmonology.
- Develop and update protocols for pediatric drug trials and medication safety.
- Stay updated on advancements in pediatric pulmonology and incorporate evidence-based practices.
- Train and mentor medical staff, including pediatricians and Pulmonologist on pediatric Pulmonological practices.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric subspecialists, nursing staff, and clinical pharmacists, to optimize patient outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with specialized training in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Pulmonology.
- Experience with clinical care of patients ages birth.
- Experience with education of medical staff, students and others.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-Board Certification experience.
- MOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
Certification:
- Approved certifications include:
- UK/Ireland: CCT/CCST
- USA/Canada: ABMS/RCPSC
- Australia/New Zealand: Fellowship of the Royal Colleges
- Certificate of Specialization from countries such as France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark.
