The Store keeper plays a crucial role by managing inventory and ensuring that materials are available for ongoing projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently handle the storage and issuing materials while maintaining accurate records. The Store Keeper will collaborate closely with project managers and site supervisors to ensure that all materials are accounted for and delivered on time. This role is essential for maintaining the workflow of construction projects and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.
  2. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  4. Prepare reports on inventory levels and material usage for project managers.
  5. Implement and maintain safety protocols for storage areas.
  6. Ensure that all materials are stored in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  7. Train and supervise junior store staff as needed.
  8. Resolve any discrepancies in inventory counts and address issues promptly.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized storage environment.
