About the Role - They are looking for a Logistics Supervisor for Dubai location.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the logistics operations, including the transportation, storage, and distribution of drilling equipment and materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all logistics operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including shipment tracking and inventory reports.
- Supervise and train logistics staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and safety standards.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall operational goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a logistics supervisor or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and IT systems.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field is often preferred.
