Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing critical financial insights to support decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including daily transaction entries and journal postings.
  • General Ledger Management: Reconcile accounts, manage the general ledger, and ensure all financial records are accurate and complete.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Calculate and prepare tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against budgets.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage vendor payments, customer invoices, and collections to maintain cash flow.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Auditing: Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS, and stay updated on relevant financial regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational decisions.

  • Hands-on experience in handling MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
