Job Description:
- Supervise and manage the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing and maintaining employee payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare and file monthly VAT returns, manage VAT payable/ receivable across the tax group and reconcile records between Almarina Holding and subsidiaries to ensure compliance and smooth process operations.
- Stay up to date with payroll and VAT laws and regulations, responding to employee queries, ensuring compliance with tax obligations and assisting with payroll audits.
- Detect and evaluate VAT risks, providing support to subsidiaries for VAT- related queries and ensuring accurate financial accounting entries are made
Qualifications:
- Open to any nationalities
- 45 years old and below
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CMA certification preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles with a focus on payroll, VAT, and corporate tax.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, VAT laws, and corporate tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
