· Support Warehouse Manager to liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies as required.
· Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
· Update and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
· Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
· Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify the accuracy of inventory records.
· Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records, investigating and resolving any issues.
· Prepare and submit reports on audit findings and inventory status to management.
· Ensure that all inventory data is accurately entered into the warehouse management system (WMS) and other tracking tools.
· Review and update inventory records regularly to reflect any changes in stock levels, locations, or conditions.
· Monitor and address any data entry errors or discrepancies promptly.
· Analyze inventory trends and data to identify opportunities for improvement in inventory management and stock control.
· Implement best practices for inventory control to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
· Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to plan and manage inventory replenishment.
· Generate and review reports on inventory performance, stock levels, and discrepancies to provide insights into inventory management.
· Provide recommendations to management based on inventory analysis and performance metrics.
· Assist in preparing reports for audits, financial reviews, and other operational assessments.
· Identify and recommend improvements to inventory management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
· Implement process changes and technology solutions to streamline inventory control and reduce errors.
· Monitor the effectiveness of process improvements and make adjustments as needed.
· Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations including Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority, QHSE, and UAE Labor Law.
· Maintain accurate and organized documentation of inventory transactions, audits, and other relevant records.
· Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
· Coordinate with warehouse staff, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth inventory operations.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address inventory-related issues and provide updates on stock status.
· Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers and logistics providers, to manage inventory flows and resolve any issues.
· Ensure individual and team compliance with Company policies and procedures in its entirety.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
Skills
· Proven experience in warehouse administration or a related logistics role, preferably within JAFZA.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data.
· Familiarity with JAFZA regulations and best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
