The Site Quantity Surveyor (Civil) plays a crucial role in the construction and engineering sectors, particularly within the oil and gas industry. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time while maintaining quality standards. The Site Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate cost estimates, monitor project progress, and implement effective cost control measures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and compliance with specifications.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiation.
- Monitor and report on project financial performance, including cash flow and expenditure.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit progress claims and variations to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and project documentation.
- Assist in dispute resolution and claims management as necessary.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and interns.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Oil and Gas, with overall experience of 5+ years.
Work Location: The positions are based in Habshan and Bu Hasa, both major oil and gas facilities in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
