A Land Surveyor in the oil and gas industry plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate measurement and mapping of land for various projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and field experience to support the planning and execution of exploration and production activities. The Land Surveyor will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide precise data that informs decision-making and project development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology.
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, maps, and reports.
- Analyze survey data to determine boundaries, elevations, and contours.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and advice on land-related issues during project planning and execution.
- Identify and resolve survey-related issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in surveying technology.
- Train and mentor junior survey staff as needed.
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols on-site.

- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in surveying.
Qualification: Diploma in Surveying.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in the respective trade In GCC.
Work Location: The positions are based in Habshan and Bu Hasa, both major oil and gas facilities in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
