SUPPLY CHAIN / INVENTORY CONTROLLER

Job Summary:

We are looking a diligent, dedicated and detail-oriented supply chain manager / Inventory Controller to join our team.

Incumbent will be responsible for demand and supply planning, monitoring inventory levels, replenishing stock as & when needed, managing inbound/outbound products, ensuring inventory record accuracy, conducting audit(s), analyzing data and other related works.

Core Responsibilities / Job description:

1. Performing demand & supply planning and forecast the future need by analyzing the sales data, inventory position, market trend and other factor.

2. Oversee the management of inventory, including stock levels, restocking and efficient space utilization.

Implement inventory control process to control inventory carrying cost, reduce losses and prevent stock-outs or overstock situations.

4. Ensuring Checking, Tracking & Recording all inbound and outbound inventory transections are accurate & on-time.

5. Ensuring inventory record accuracy at all point to avoid variance between system and physical stock and improve stock visibility.

6. Managing warehouses) which include effective space utilization, setting put away and picking rules, structuring zones i.e. Dispatch zone, loading docks, offloading area, shelfing/racking systems etc.

7. Developing a strong team work environment and liaise between upper management & lower staff.

8. Recruit, retire, train, lead, counselling, coaching, Setting JDs for team.

9. Setting performance expectations, assign tasks and conduct performance evaluations of subordinates.

10. Analysing the sales / purchase / return data, developing report based on available information and submitting report to management for decision making.

11. Strong communication and coordination among different SBU (Strategic business units) in GCC region and beyond.

12. Responsible to conduct periodic / random audit, develop reports based on audit findings and submit report to management for further review and decision.


Skills

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

1. Minimum 5 years Proven experience as a Supply chain manager / Inventory Controller or similar role.

2. Possess University degree in Business Management major in Supply chain.

3. Proficient to work in various ERP such as Oracle, SAP, Ms Dynamics particularly in inventory management, demand & supply planning, operation management modules.

4. Ability to use Advance Excel tools in any business environment and presentation skill.

5. Excellent organizational, leadership and multitasking skills.

6. Must be able to negotiate and create a win win situation with a commendable communication skills.

7. Good team management, time management, problem solving skill, ability to work in tough situation.
