As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a culture of excellence. You will work closely with customers and staff to build relationships, drive business, and deliver outstanding automotive solutions. About the Role

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential markets and customers for exporting cars.
  • Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Drive sales by actively seeking new business opportunities and negotiating contracts with clients.
  • Reach out to potential clients via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings to introduce company services and establish relationships.
  • Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of partnering with the company.
  • Coordinate with Purchasers and Logistics coordinator to ensure timely delivery of cars to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and procedures in all target markets.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for sales and business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as accounting, business developers, purchasers, business managers and logistics to ensure smooth execution of export operations.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activities and pricing strategies.
  • Collect feedback from clients to improve services and offerings.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, seeking out opportunities to optimize processes and reduce costs.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics, client interactions, and market trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular updates on progress.



Skills

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or related fields, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Understanding of international trade regulations and procedures related to car exports.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and sales data.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating leads and closing deals.
  • Strong networking abilities to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Proficiency in English and Russian is required. 
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Multicultural awareness and ability to navigate and adapt sales strategies to different cultural norms and customer preferences across international markets. 
  • Excellent negotiation skills with experience in pricing strategies, financing options, and closing high-value international deals.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients, providing exceptional after-sales service.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and managing profit margins, including currency exchange and international trade regulations.
  • Ability to travel domestically as required.
