Our client is a short term property rental operator based in Dubai.

Having some of the most luxurious properties in Dubai on their portfolio.

 

We are looking for a highly qualified chartered accountant with 5+ years of experience to run their accounting and compliance function.

 

You will be responsible for implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing financial reports, controlling the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with the state revenue service.

 

Flexible days in the office is an option

 

Responsibilities

·     Oversee the duties of the accounting function.

·     Create and submit VAT returns

·     Implement accounting systems and processes.

·     Managing the Zoho books / Control the master data of the general register.

·     Review DTCM input by admin / guest relations

·     Prepare monthly financial reports (for management and investors).

·     Review and release online banking payments.

·     Ensure compliance with state revenue service.

·     Provide ongoing accounting and reporting support.

·     Manage the full financial process.

·     Pay utility bills

·     Prepare expense budget reports, monthly landlord statements and PowerPoint presentations for Management.

·     Monitors petty cash payments and the replenishments

·     Bank reconciliations

·     Managing Payroll

·     Document management and organisation / admin

·     Manage AP and AR

·     Prepare invoices and manage / organise records

·     Reconcile supplier accounts (Airbnb, booking.com, stripe) with our pnl

·     Year-end statutory reporting

·     Property performance / ADR/ occupancy calculations

Skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Minimum of 2 years post article experience.
  • Registration with accredited statutory body and association.
  • Fully compliant as a tax practitioner.
  • Filing of corporate tax returns.
  • Experience in PowerPoint, Excel and Zoho Books.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Hotel industry experience is an advantage
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication skills.
