About the Role:

As a Logistics Coordinator - Freight Control at Kitopi, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing freight activities for our dynamic and fast-paced F&B operations. With your experience in the food and beverage industry, you’ll ensure seamless coordination of shipments, manage freight partners, and uphold regulatory compliance to maintain Kitopi’s high standards of service and quality.


What You'll Do?


  • Freight Management: Oversee the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, with a focus on ensuring timely delivery of F&B products and raw materials.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with freight and logistics partners to meet the unique needs of F&B operations.
  • Temperature-Controlled Logistics: Monitor and manage cold chain logistics to ensure perishable goods are transported under the right conditions.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage all required shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customs regulations, especially for F&B goods.
  • Compliance: Ensure all freight activities comply with food safety regulations, customs requirements, and Kitopi's policies.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze freight costs and propose strategies to improve efficiency without compromising the quality of F&B products.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve freight-related challenges, such as delays or damages, to prevent disruptions to the supply chain.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain real-time tracking of shipments and provide updates to key stakeholders.


What Are We Looking For?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of logistics or freight control experience in the F&B industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cold chain logistics and transportation requirements for perishable goods.
  • Familiarity with customs procedures and regulations specific to food products.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage complex freight operations.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for managing freight vendors and internal stakeholders.

Recruitment Process and Timeline

First, you apply, and our talent attraction team will review your profile. If your profile matches our requirements, you will receive a link to schedule a meeting with a recruiter at your convenience. This meeting is an opportunity for you to share more about yourself and for us to get to know you better.

If you are shortlisted, you will meet with our hiring managers. Depending on the role and its requirements, you may need to attend 2-3 interview rounds. These rounds could include a case study, role-play, trial assignment, or live coding session, which will be communicated to you in the initial conversation.

Upon successful completion of the interview rounds, your recruiter will contact you to discuss the offer. We aim to complete this process within 2-3 weeks.
