A Coffee Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing staff efficiently. Below are the key job roles:

1. Operations & Store Management

  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot coffee machines and other equipment.

2. Staff Management & Leadership

  • Train and supervise baristas and other staff members.
  • Schedule shifts and assign tasks to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Motivate and lead the team to deliver high-quality service.

3. Customer Service & Experience

  • Create a welcoming environment for customers

  • Handle complaints and resolve customer issues professionally.
  • Maintain high standards for product quality and presentation.

4. Sales & Business Growth

  • Monitor sales and implement strategies to increase revenue.
  • Must hit the target of the branches and will give target to each waiter/waitress
  • Introduce promotions, upselling techniques, and loyalty programs.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate cost-effective deals.
  • Always ready to present new items ahead of the season/occasions/new idea

5. Inventory & Financial Management

  • Track stock levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Control waste and monitor ingredient usage to reduce costs.
  • Manage daily cash handling, sales reconciliation, and financial reporting.

6. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and labor laws.
  • Generate reports on sales, performance, and operational improvements.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
