We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in Dubai’s construction industry and a deep understanding of local regulations, market rates, and construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare accurate BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and budgets for construction projects.
- Tendering & Procurement: Manage the preparation of tender documents, evaluate contractor bids, and negotiate contracts.
- Contract Administration: Oversee contract terms, variations, and claims to ensure compliance with FIDIC and Dubai regulations.
- Cost Control & Value Engineering: Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects remain within budget.
- Payments & Financial Reporting: Certify subcontractor and supplier invoices, prepare progress reports, and manage interim and final accounts.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks associated with the project.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Compliance & Legal Requirements: Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, and other regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
✔ 5+ years of experience in Dubai’s construction sector.
✔ Strong knowledge of Dubai construction laws, regulations, and market rates.
✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy).
✔ Experience working with FIDIC contracts and local procurement procedures.
✔ Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
✔ Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
✅ MRICS/AIQS certification is a plus.
✅ UAE Driving License is an advantage.
