• Feeding Support: Ability to assist with breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and preparing formula.
• Sleep and Comfort: Understanding of sleep routines and comforting techniques for newborns.
• Health Monitoring: Ability to monitor vital signs, feeding patterns, and general health.
• Newborn Development: Knowledge of infant milestones and proper stimulation for growth and development.
• Safety and First Aid: Certification in infant CPR and basic first aid, and knowledge of newborn safety protocols.
• Parent Education: Ability to educate parents on newborn care, including feeding schedules, sleep routines, and baby health.
• Soothing Techniques: Experience with techniques to calm and soothe a fussy or colicky baby.
• Emotional Support: Providing emotional support to new parents and offering reassurance during early parenting stages.
• Vaccination and Doctor Visits: Understanding of newborn immunization schedules and doctor visits.
• Cleaning and Sanitization: Proper cleaning and sanitizing of bottles, pacifiers, toys, and other baby items.
• Handling Crying: Ability to assess the reasons for crying (hunger, discomfort, etc.) and respond appropriately.
• Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks, such as feeding, changing, and comforting simultaneously.
• Communication: Clear communication with parents about the baby’s daily activities and any concerns.
