We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, develop strategic partnerships, and expand the Ascend Esport brand. The ideal candidate is passionate about esports, has a proven track record in sales and sponsorships, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and sponsorships within the gaming and esports ecosystem.
• Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue and brand growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, advertisers, and key industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling sponsorship packages and marketing proposals.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize partnership value.
• Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and business development KPIs.
• Track, measure, and report on business development performance, including revenue growth, sponsorship deals closed, and partnership engagement.
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or sponsorship management, preferably in esports, gaming, or digital media is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of the esports ecosystem, including leagues, teams, tournaments, and gaming communities.
• Proven experience in negotiating and closing high-value sponsorships and partnerships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
