  • Provide recommendations on new technologies that would improve the company’s performance. 
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. 
  • Develop and implement database security and backup procedures.
  • Monitor database performance meticulously, identifying and promptly resolving any performance bottlenecks or issues.
  • Skillfully oversee database user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls.
  • Proficiently manage database backups and execute successful data restoration when necessary.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field from an accredited institution or equivalent. 
  • 3 – 5 years previous experience, with a minimum of 2 years relative experience to the responsibilities outlined above.
