Commercial Country Manager, APple Store Online - Middle-East

Responsibilities for the position encompass both tactical actions as well as strategic initiatives requiring an individual with strong leadership skills and deep commercial and digital commerce experience. For the day-to-day aspect, the role will involve interpreting results, providing market insights and the development of reports and metrics. At the planning level, it will require confidence in operating both independently, as well working at a cross functional levels to articulate, influence and promote development plans. Lead the development and execution of the country plan - lead the creation and facilitate the delivery of the priority tracks of work. - Support the development of country commercial promotions - develop the promotion proposal, work with Finance and Commercial Programs to build the business case and lead through commercial leadership forums in partnership with the Geo Promo lead. - Deeply understand the commercial performance of the country across both RTM - understand key commercial performance drivers, opportunity areas (gaps) and growth opportunities; represent country performance in WBR. - Develop deep commercial subject matter expertise on the commercial and customer needs of the country - work with Commercial Programs, AFS, channel and external partners to understand what capabilities and experiences are required to drive Apple Retail growth. - Provide day-to-day performance metrics for the business, provide qualitative and quantitative feedback, along with action plans for with relevant stake holders. - Observe and collate relevant commercial trends, assess threats and opportunities from the market and the business. - Drive growth plans and initiatives to address challenges and opportunities in digital commerce, and be able to articulate requirements to senior/exec leadership. - Develop strong cross functional support to deliver the plans and initiatives and measure success. - Develop strong connections across Retail and extended business functions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive local knowledge of payments and fulfilment landscape
  • Ability to analyse competitive offers from both a commercial and customer experience
  • A strong knowledge of the functions and levers associated with a retail business, including the ability to interpret and enable business insight
  • Proven experience in delivering best in class, customer focussed experiences in market
  • Team worker with a demonstrable track record of working within and across functions. Comfortable with matrix organisations and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience of developing consumer focussed offerings, leveraging key internal and external partners.
  • Experience with budget development for both Opex and Capex requirements
