Charterhouse is working with an Architecture & Engineering client in the UAE who are looking to hire a highly skilled and innovative Architect with expertise in Robotics to join their Research Department.
About the role
This role's responsibilities will include researching and implementing cutting-edge robotics technologies, such as robotic fabrication, automated assembly, and 3D printing, into architectural design processes. The Architect will work on developing workflows that integrate parametric design tools with robotics systems, collaborating with engineers and designers to prototype robotics-driven solutions, and exploring sustainable materials that are compatible with robotics for innovative construction techniques. Additionally, the role will play a key role in analyzing emerging trends in robotics to maintain a competitive edge in design innovation. In this role, the Architect will have the opportunity to push the boundaries of architectural design and construction by integrating robotics technologies to enhance efficiency, precision, and sustainability.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture and 3-5 years of experience, particularly in robotics applications within architecture or construction. Proficiency in advanced design software and robotics tools such as Grasshopper, Dynamo, Rhino, ROS, or robotic simulation software is essential. The successful candidate will also possess a strong understanding of robotic fabrication techniques, including robotic arms and automated assembly systems, and have knowledge of sustainable practices in construction.
