The Role

As a Vessel Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of bulk carriers, optimising performance, and maintaining compliance with maritime regulations. This position requires a

Key Requirements

·at least 3 years previous experience in a Vessel Operations role.

·Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.

·Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

·Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.

·Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration.

·Comprehensive knowledge of maritime regulations and dry bulk sector standards.

·Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·High proficiency in IT systems and operational software.

Skills

.Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of vessels.

·Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.

·Liaise with charterers, agents, masters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

·Monitor voyage performance and optimise efficiency.

·Handle post-fixture operations, including laytime calculations and claims management.

·Address and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner.

·Maintain accurate records and reports on vessel performance
