We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Intermediate Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing interior design concepts and carrying them through to the tender stage. This role requires a balance of creativity and technical expertise to ensure design intent is fully realized with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development:

* Collaborate with the design team to develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.

* Research and analyze design trends, materials, and finishes to create innovative solutions.

* Produce mood boards, sketches, and conceptual presentations.

Technical Development & Detailing:

* Translate conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.

* Develop detailed CAD drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and joinery details.

* Ensure all designs adhere to building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

* Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to specify materials, finishes, and furnishings.

Project Coordination & Documentation:

* Prepare and compile full design documentation, including specifications, schedules, and BOQs for tender submissions.

* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to integrate interior design elements with overall project requirements.

* Review and refine drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and consultants.

* Assist in evaluating contractor bids and ensuring design compliance during execution.

Skills

Qualifications & Skills:

* Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

* 8-10 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on technical detailing and project execution.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.

* Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery details, and construction methods.

* Ability to coordinate full sets of construction and tender drawings independently.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
