• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects.
• Review architectural and joinery drawings to extract quantities and technical data.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate pricing.
• Carry out take-offs and produce Bills of Quantities and scopes of work.
• Monitor project costs and produce regular valuations and cost reports.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities relating to cost and value.
• Support contract negotiations and client meetings as required.
• Assist in final accounts and project close-out documentation.

Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in the joinery, fit-out, or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of bespoke joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and installation methods.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of estimating software (e.g., Candy, ConQuest, or Excel-based estimating tools).
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
