Job Description:
Fatorah Insurance Claims Settlement L.L.C is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coder with both Inpatient and Outpatient (IP/OP) coding experience to join our team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICD-10 and CPT coding, an understanding of UAE insurance standards, and the ability to process claims accurately and efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring claims are submitted error-free and meet insurance provider requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes (ICD-10, CPT) based on medical documentation for both IP and OP cases.
- Review patient records and clinical documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure coding practices are in line with DHA, MOH, and insurance guidelines in the UAE.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance teams, and internal auditors for claim clarification or resubmission.
- Track denied claims and assist in appeals or resubmissions.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all data protection regulations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Medical Coding, Health Information Management, or related field.
- Certification preferred: CPC, CCS, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–4 years of coding experience in both Inpatient and Outpatient settings.
- Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures.
- Experience working with UAE insurance portals (e.g., Daman, Neuron, NAS, Nextcare) is a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
